Afton Beard

Afton is a neuroscience major from Twin Falls, Idaho. Her hobbies include playing video games, traveling, and taking photos. She is primarily interested in research surrounding the neurobiology of PTSD and traumatic memory and plans to get a PhD in clinical psychology. Afton’s favorite part about working in the sleep consortium is running MRI scans. She is most excited to learn more about the effect of circadian misalignment on dietary behaviors in adolescents.
